Nickel Acid Leaching Plant

Overview

  • Nickel Atmospheric Leaching (AAL) Process with Hydrochloric Acid (HCl)
  • Input Nickel Ore: Laterite (Ni ± 1.3% or over)
  • Extraction of nickel at room temperature and pressure using hydrochloric acid (HCl)
  • HCl produced by heating magnesium chloride (MgCl2) that is regenerated in the process
  • Ensure economic viability, handling and process safety
  • Reduced investment costs compared to HPAL process (50% reduction in TIC)
  • Reduced energy consumption and emissions
  • Safer, easier, more stable and flexible operation
  • Maximize profits and reduce waste in the production of high-value by-products (magnesium oxide, iron oxide, silica, etc.
  • Environmentally friendly and waste-free process with Zero-Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology
